Kar's dyno of late has been a hit and miss affair, no longer reliable.Chuck_Norris wrote:How was it compared to the KAR dyno?Rynomini wrote:Nice event. Hm auto is a nice clean workshop. The dyno was quite accurate.
Looks like I missed a nice dyno day.
I dyno'd my car the week before, 16C ambient temps and got 502HP and 720nm at US Powersport which is considered to be very accurate.
Got 10HP more at HM with 8C ambient temps, so i would say it's pretty spot on.

Awesome dyno day. Big ups to comm for finally getting things sorted out with numbering
I love the setup they have there. Clean, well presented and everything well organised. Just a quick thing though, howcome each run yields a different reading? From run 1 to run 2 I had a 5-10hp increase? Not complaining, just wondering. Pretty happy with my results, not sure what else I can do to extract more ponies.

no dyno will ever be 100% accurate, so a difference of 5% between runs isn't too bad.Pitzi-NC wrote:Every dyno I've ever had any car on has done the same.Dirty Harry wrote:Awesome dyno day. Big ups to comm for finally getting things sorted out with numbering

Ah ok. I saw all the cars do it.
Also noticed my torque is a lot lower compared to the other 16v's running similar power to me. Wonder howmcome. I know that's not dyno related.

Yes NOS is allowed, We can't break down every mod/motor/turbo/valves per cylinder or everyone would be in a class of their own.TurboCrazed wrote:Was a good event. The Rs3 in the K04 category is a S3 With Gt30. If the relevant people with edit the results. Also K04 catergory, Nos allowed?
at least he was honest and listed it, Many "stock" cars were pushing some high numbers.
Ps. You have a seriously strong K04 Roc
