You are insanely quick in that GTI!playback wrote:Must say. I was impressed.
Queue's flowed well. No jumping in. Timing well done. Road clean.
Overall very impress guys well done to all involved.
Thanks, Left a lot on the table unfortunately. Brakes were getting better and better but still was going into the corners too hot sometimes or coming out in the wrong gear.1.9TurboVW wrote:You are insanely quick in that GTI!playback wrote:Must say. I was impressed.

Aiming for the 23rd/24th of June. I'll be at the Hillclimb next year, even if I have to run up the hill.Scratch wrote:So mr Stig when are you coming back?Titleists wrote:So no one broke the FI class and open class records?

First run was 66Pieta wrote:He was right, you only learn this way. What was your time btw?Tdi_Girl wrote:Awesome Event ,Thanks to all the comm member that was involved in organizing the event.
First VW event that I participated, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I was scared to take part as most of the club members have a perception that the Hillclimb is not for sissies. I got thrown in the deep by my SO, but it was worth it. He told me there is only one way to learn and it is the HARD way.
You`ll definitely see me again next year!

Alex Marques : 56.9 vs 55.7
Jonathan Thiel : 58.76 vs 56.2
James Barnes : 62 vs 60
Wikus Dippenaar : 58.17 (in the green beast) vs 54.9 (in the caddy).
Pleasant surprise
That 58.17 was my 1 and only scouting run to check the track out before things went bad last year. But yes quicker and in one piece this year . Next year the Golf will redeem itselfM3THANOL wrote:I had a look at last years times and it turns out that a couple of us did better this year!
