Just take it easy and slowly. No one is telling you to go ape. That is just you trying to probe something or show off

If you drive, just think about where you have to turn and brake, and don't try be a hero and leave it till the last minute.Rather be safe and brake way before the turns.

Re: VWCSA HillClimb 2014
Rob, it is a fun event this, you know. Just begin slowly. The road is usually quite slippery in the early morning, so just start slow. Feel where you need to brake, and progress slowly from there.Tander wrote:You know what I meant. No need to get smart...

Re: VWCSA HillClimb 2014
Hi guys looking forward to this event, I have a suggestion that I think might be worth considering.
I attended the skidpan day at Zwartkops that I enjoyed a lot, and something that I thought was good
was having the guys of the advanced drivers academy there. I don't know if it will be possible to maybe
invite them over again for the hillclimb , I know that I will be more at ease with one of those guys riding
shotgun for my 1st run. Maybe more will join in if this is an option.
Cheers hope to see you there

Re: VWCSA HillClimb 2014
The problem is there are no runoff or sandpits. Advanced drivers will try to push you and the result will not be good. Do it but this is not the place to push yourself and find the boundaries of your ride, unless you are prepared to do a rebuild soon. I also suggest not to do more than 3 runs.

Re: VWCSA HillClimb 2014
I am in agreement with Viper on this one.
VWSA Advanced Drivers have however shown interest in been at the HillClimb though.
Will see how it pans out.
