Hey guys, sorry for starting a massive argument. I just posted my opinion. I really enjoyed the event, my first time on the skidpan was lots of fun.
Thanks to comm for the hard work.
I haven't been at one of these events yet, just wanted to know if our times will be available somewhere?

Dear comm....

You oaks did a boss job! Could not have asked for a better comm setup or comm working together so well and everything going smoothly!

And as for the slap on the wrist for the oak that was spinning past the cars.... I think that was still very light... We were standing right next to a car when a white golf spun right past us and I was naar! Anything stupid can happen slight misjudgment or curve ball and the golf could have driven straight into us!

But anyway really enjoyed it today big ups to you all!

No problem mrImage

Just think twice before criticising the com for a job no one else wanna do. If you got suggestions on how to make it better, please give it to them. Grant and his team have done major changes this year and I'm sure they are open for suggestions.

But at the end of the day the club need people like you to grow so we can have more and even better events in the future . So please come join more events and understand there is a bigger picture!

Guys with the wot boxes, I heard the first one this morning as we joined the highway in Edenvale. I actually though for a sec that I broke something on my car. :) does it not cause any damage when that happens?

I would love to hear how that would sound in my complex. Hahaha. What is it suppose to do other then the sound? A form of launch control to get rpm / boost up before dropping clutch or am I way off?

WOTbox, Wide Open Throttle, its actually a no lift shift device, launch control (which is useless on small turbos lol) and it can also controll an AUX device eg. NOS system. When we make the bangs its actually a malfunction or a error or we fool the box and it screws out and that's where the bangs come from

What an epic event guys. Thanks a lot.

I did give Le Clue and Nando some lolworthyness by pulling what I thought was the ESP fuse and then subsequently dropping it in my engine bay. After pulling up the handbrake on the next run and applying my face to the drivers window (with a considerable amount of force, it must be said) I realised that it was in fact NOT the ESP fuse. So left to go buy chow and a fuse. Turned out it was the fan fuse.

I wish I could get more sideways but FWD and ESP makes that kinda impossible.

Regardless, was a lot of fun seeing some familiar faces again. Thanks again to the comm. I know what a **** job it is getting there early and working your butts off. But you guys really hosted an epic event. Hats off to you.

Thank you for a brilliant day.
I have not been to too many events for about two years till this year and I will really make it my mission to be at all of them.
2014 comm has really kicked it up a notch or twenty in regards to effort and dedication and planning of a really good events.
it is really hard to keep every one happy. Sorry I parked in side for 10min to collect my son and co pilot.

Oh yes Raedan says he had sooooooooo much fun!

What an epic day.

Thank you for saying its the comm that made it such a great day...

But it wasnt the comm...

Its was you, the club that did it!

You all rocked it! Without the club, the comm are nothing!

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and made it such an amazing day!

Special thanks to the following:

G-Spot for making sure the timing equipment worked like a charm!
Gremlin for that course! Wow! (Caught me out everytime!)
Kibim for arranging the Z for us!
Barney for his barefoot cone management!
Firestrm_ZA for getting us all off safely!
Psycho8v for manning the table all day!
Duck and Jetta16v for making sure the queue ran super smooth

All the photographers! (Cant name you all!)

The VWSA advanced driving instructors! Yugan and Phillip!

And to all the new club members, welcome and thanks for joining!

On to the next event! Hill Climb!

Onwards and upwards!

Peace!
