VWCSA YEF Campout: 7-8th Dec 2013

Hey guys and gals,

Our Year End Function has been confirmed for the 7-8th of December 2012!

Seeing as the previous year end functions were great fun, we will be doing the CAMPOUT thing again! Its a great social event for members only. For the guys that have not attended a Campout, JOIN US!

You are welcome to stay for the day, and then if wanted, can camp for the night as well.

PRICE FOR DAY VISIT AND CAMPING: Will be R50 per person
VENUE: Hartbeespoort Resort
TIME: We will be there from 12h00
BRING: Meat & drinks and wood. There will be lit braais at the venue, but for religious purposes please bring your own grill if need be. The is a restaurant if braai-ing is not your thing.

DIRECTIONS:
From Randburg:
There is a new big fast double lane highway built for World Cup Soccer to Lanseria. Follow Malibongwe (Formerly Hans Strijdom), go over the Roodepoort Freeway, past Bandbury Crossing and Kya Sands, past Lanseria turnoff, through Broederstroom to a stop street. Don’t turn right to Pelindaba - turn left and go past Pecanwood and continue for a few km (keep water on your right) and turn right on the Brits and Sun City road. Cross a long bridge over the water and at the stop street turn right, with water on your right. Continue past Cosmos turnoff and go to the 4-way stop. At Damdoryn 4-way stop, proceed straight on and Hartbeespoort Oord/Resort will be 3.3 km further on the right hand side, past Mount Amanzi.

From Pretoria:
Via the Pelindaba N4 Route: Follow the N4 towards Hartbeespoort. At final Tollgate, turn right towards Hartbeespoort. Follow the signs towards Hartbeespoort. At Ifafi 4-way stop (Total Garage on your right), turn right. Follow this road until T-junction, and take slipway to your left. Go over Zilkaats Nek. This is the R514 towards Brits. At Sasol Zilkaats Nek Garage, turn left. Hartbeespoort Oord/Resort will be 3 km further on the left hand side.

From North of Pretoria:
Via the Platinum Highway (Rustenburg Rd.) off the N1 Polokwane Freeway: Follow the tollgate road towards Brits/Rustenburg. Pass the Dr. Swanepoel toll, and the Brits Plaza and take the first turnoff to the left and turn left (the road to Brits is on your right). At the Sasol Garage turn right, Hartbeespoort-Oord/Resort will be on your left-hand side.

Our friend from Nelspruit came through in his Amarok, people fell asleep next to their car tyres, dougi and Stacey almost adopted a sausage dog, people got crazy after Carvo shots and than at night apparently there were real shots? Or something? Oh and Martin rocked up with a moerse tent that took longer than the evening itself before it was put up. And Scratch was happy that we were in his area. Not forgetting the short drive for Nando from Brits

That was the best event I've been to, all the old boys were there

The first campout Dotdub was showing off his 20 inch slong and Ruan9n was tap dancing in Puni's vomit.

Seems both you and I didn't read the 1st post correctly.

Only VWCSA Members can join the campout.

But if you would like to join, it would cost you R300 / person.

This will include your cost for camping, and 1 years membership to the VWCSA.
