If I was there in the Fox 1.6 16vt I would have been in the same class FD

Close first and second there for 1.9+ N/A but pretty happy with my result.

Btw, Not sure if the class is right for Tim Gordon, he's running a 1.8 20v Turbo

LOL, first time on the hill and was crazy funny going corner to corner making smoke, then braking early only to accelerate back into the corner and **** scared round the corners - only got worse on the 3rd and last run when I passed the 11's and oil puddle on the first bend!!

All in all heaps of fun, I really didn't expect to be ahead of gtidon

It started off dusty, and I think people also got a bit of a shock when the GW golf crashed and took it a bit easier... (I know I did).

Because those cars have driving assistance features putting them in a completely different league.
Car number 23 for example is over 6 seconds faster than us. Now an "Upgraded" version of that car comes back into our class.. We cant touch it.

True, we'll have a big split in the class if for example it was don and I and 3 or 4 big turbo (GT40/42) GTI 5/6's - they can just put power down so much better and with TC and ABS have a big advantage on events like this
