Yes, I've been in Durban most my life during the Comrades. My father participates every year. Trust me, Ballito, Umhlanga, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and even the south coast are clogged that weekend, week before and week after.

13 seems to be a very unlucky number. I know 2013 has been very kak to me sofar! We're gonna have a braai at scatman's place this weekend, some of our forum friends will probably discuss this. If the guys stay adamant on having the event the 31st then it is fine. Some of us can get together, start a facebook group maybe and organize our own thing around the 14th of June.

What's the odds of everybody that voted the 31st actually going? Sound like the guys that actually always go can't make the 31st. Just something to consider

There can be only 1 Dubrun. We chose the date to be the 31st, and I personally feel we should stick to our guns, so to speak. Most of the guys that can't make it on the 31st base their reasons on the increased traffic and the fact that it is not in line with TG Festival?

Ok, So seeing as the poll didn't work, And the comm members tried to be nice about it and get everyone involved.

Who opposes the 14th of June and Why?

Im not against the 14th, I just feel its unfair for those that do not have accommodation?
