yes gtidon you need that trophy!

There are left over trophies so I will ask rion to check what's left and then arrange for it to be sent out.

Wikus your brother will get his trophy, we have it.

Guy please understand that it was tough to consolidate the runs after the drags and was a learning experience for all of us. By luck most guys got the correct trophies on the day. Next time we will be prepared. Its not as easy as one thinks... Probably the reason why trophies were stopped in the first place and the point system was started...

Thanks for the great event guys, will be attending much more and supporting the club in future.
Managed a 187 with a bog standard CC, did not bother with 1/4 mile as it does not have lauch control. When i tried on second 1km run to brake and accelerate it seemed to heat up the clutch and and bog down.

can the DSG be flashed with GTi software?

Not looking for excuses, my next car is a 1.4T, just saying! :driving:
I dont agree with you there buddy, ask the Mk5 DSG Gti okes, they'll tell tell you
But keep in mind that the old Polo Gti 1.8T 5-Speed gearbox is not nearly as quick and smooth as the Golf 5 Gti 6-Speed Manual gearbox :)

So regarding the results, is there any confirmation that the reaction time has been included/excluded?

Ok fine, then please explain how can a car cross the line first and run a slower time than a car thats a good 2 car lengths behind if reaction time is not included?

I'm sorry to be critical and I'm not being critical of anybody in particular, but the results are very, very confusing.

So what if the car1 that crossed the line first had greater than 2 car lead at the set off while car 2 waited for launch control and then at the top did better?

I was there and saw what times were taken and it was excl reaction time.

+10000

that is why Larry thought he beat me because he crossed the line before me, but i won by 0.2 seconds because my reaction time sucked...
