Re: VWCSA February Dyno Day *4WheelDyno* - 25 Feb 2012
Thanx, for every one who pulled through on the day. Unfortunately the rain messed up the day and we had to refund 50+ people but the numbers were amazing and it is always great to see so many people at an event.
This was trial and error for the comm as well, we have been trying to do a 4wd dyno for a while now but unfortunately their are only a hand full of venues that can provide this. The que was a mess at parts and a lot of time was lost with comm walking around looking for the next car to run. Also the WRC numbers came back and was redistributed again with new entries and caused havok all around.
The guys from WRC tried everything in their power to run more cars but unfortunately the KAR drag cars took way to long and we could have done another 10 cars in those times. As I announced just before break we planned to do one run per car after lunch in an attempt to speed things up but alas the clouds decided to put an end to the day and the heat before we could resume.
Like mentioned, the setting up of the dyno for 4wd cars did take a while so we decided to run all the 4wd cars that has already entered by that stage directly after each other to save time later on. There were a lot of cars that I was dying to see on the rollers Including the Revo R and RS3.
I am sure that WRC as well as the VWCSA has learned a few valuable lessons in running large dyno days at WRC, when evveryone left the owner told me that he never thought there would be so many entries or VW's in one place.
I have all the results with me and will publish them as soon as I tie them with the entry forms.

since only 10 cars got to run it shouldnt take them long to post the results....
unless they using the same system they used on the dyno day

Re: VWCSA February Dyno Day *4WheelDyno* - 25 Feb 2012
The issue we having is that all dyno graphs were emailed to us. These are linked by number plates so Marz has to now look at every entry form and match them up which is taking time as he is busy at work with year end as well.
I am trying to help him but i need to get the entry forms from him first.
Please bear with us.

Yes, we could have...if we had two spare comm guys. One to call out the results after each run and one to type it into the data sheet.Sinbad wrote:Next time go back to the capture spreadsheet IMHO
