VWCSA - Dyno day February 2012

Post by dazza »

Ok guys so we will be hosting the first dyno day of 2012 in February.
Now we need to decide on a date between 25th and 26th February so please indicate which date best suites you as we know certain people work on Satudays so it becomes difficult.
Please vote on the poll with regard to dates that better suite you.

Dyno day will run the entire day from 08:00 to 17:00 so if on the Saturday there should be plenty time to ensure those that work on Saturdays can still take part
Thanks

Would like to see if there was any increase in power after the de-cat as it certainly feels that way.

So...............I'm in.

Well at Panic's dyno day I got laughed at when my car went up onto the ramps. Even the guy who ran the car (The assistant - not Panic) had things to say about it. Most of what was in afrikaans which I didn't understand. But my GF did.

Not ayoba - so don't want to go through that again. But I will come through and have a look at other cars.

Really don't stress about it. Do some small mods like a mufflerectomy (ha ha ha) just joking. Maybe something like an octane booster or a different filter just so that you can get a base to start with and as you start doing more mods you can go back and chart your progress.

As for the chops laughing at you, who gives a crap just put her on and see what you get. I won't laugh at you.
If its any consolation I once stuck my 1.3 carb Chico on snail's dyno and only got a measly 30kw now that was sad.

So kind of you bud.

I would be wasting money trying to get more power out of her -s o I have just left it stock and one day a G6 GTi will be in my drive way with Revo Stage 2.

@Henio - Cool bud - will be there regardless if I put the car up or not.
