It was me bro. My car was sitting on 0km remaining when we chatted at the robot and then you took off and after hearing the sound of the R, i decided ah what the hell, if i get stuck you will stop and get me fuel so floored it. Would have loved to have had a run from the robots.

Your car sounds totally insane!!!

Cheers

I really enjoyed this one, maybe it was because it wasnt a Sunday event.
Abit of a delay at the start, but then the event flowed well with everyone behaving which was good.
Glad to see some opels, scooby's and a lancer in the mix.
I would have loved to put my car on the track but the front tyres are overdue for replacement.

Thanks guys. Had a great time for the +-1 hour i was there. I'd driven up from Durban that morning, parked the ML and climbed into the SLK to get up to the event. Glad I had the opening to come through. Has been an insanely busy week! 2500km from monday to saturday.

The SLK was just made for being looned around a wet circuit like that, I had 2 runs and let my dad drive it a few times. He's not very confident with the car, so kept it in a straight line the whole time, although reasonably quick still, within a second of my time.

glad you made it to the gas station!! Is your car chipped?? It looked strong indeed and i'm just lucky we tapped off when we did :)
