Good question ... I kinda vote for the blockhouse as it is be 99% exclusiv (on purpose ) ly VWCSA people ...

If not. Have a look at 'stone haven on vaal' on the net. They will be able to cater for all. Its across the river from abramsrust. I think its an awsum place (my opinion)

The VWCSA commitee decide on the venue for the breaky ... as far as I have seen in post, there's been no announcement yet ...

I'm sure they will let us know at some stage on what they have decided ...

That depends on the organizers of the vdub day. Check ther website and find out from them. I'm sure since people will be camping over it's allowed

All accommodation is self catering.
Braai stands and cooler bags welcome(alcoholic beverages will not be sold but is allowed).There are stores nearby for general supplies.
Kindly take note that for camping, a 3 pin caravan plug is required for power supply to your tent.

I have not been on this forum in years. Id like to attend the breakfast one as while as a friend of mine. He has a turbo golf 3. I on the other hand have a turbo Opel. I just finished the motor. I know VW and opel dont really like each other so that is why Im asking if it is ok if I bring the car. As for the Opel club as I have now learn't they are such a bunch of beep-beep, bee......... I will admit one or two are fine. But i really dont want anything to do with them. I should have built up a golf

Looking good for Saturday. Prediction is partly cloudy with small to No chance of rain http://www.weathersa.co.za/web/Home.asp ... =1&f=68353

We were at the venue on Sunday and no issues with the river banks bursting or any of that nonsense people have been speculating about.

I'll update all posts shortly with an itenary of the two days as there'll be lots to keep everyone busy. I am also getting the final menu's from all the food vendors if anyone is keen to pull straight through and have their breakfast at the Camp Fest as well.

Tickets are per person.

I have been asked what happens to guys who purchase a day visitor ticket on Saturday and then later decide to stay overnight for Sunday?

Answer: You will then need to purchase a Camping ticket at the normal rate if you decide to stay overnight on Saturday.

This is also subject to availability. We having been selling camping tickets fast and we are limted by the resort to 800 campers.
