Hi All

Due to the need of a revamp of the Park Homes we've decided not to offer them anymore.

As such only day visitor, camp sites and chalets are available.

And just to note, chalets are selling fast. Only a few Chalets are left at this stage.

Haha! Thats funny, cause actually we get **** for all events. We cant please everyone and believe it or not a lot of consideration an thought and debate go into these events. When we had mentioned another Harties trip before people complained that they wanted something new, when we manage to find a restaurant that can cater for 100 people (not easy) people moan about the food and the service, and if we find a place that can manage the numbers efficiently, people moan about the price. When we propose to do a bring and braai thing people say that's too much of a mission (seriously?)

We know this event doesn't suite everyone but in addition to trying to put together events that the majority of the members (the club members) will enjoy, we are constantly trying to improve and expand the club. This event is an opportunity to do that. The Vdub day is exactly that, a VDUB day, and we are a vdub club so its such an awesome opportunity for us to arrive in numbers, really turn heads, and get people excited about us and what we stand for.

We really hope that as many people that are available that day can make it, otherwise we'll see you all at the next event.

Going to the vaal dam to meet up with another event for me is pointless, the VWCSA breakfast run should be an event in itself, not merely a boring, straight 140km cruise to another event. Just my 2c.

Can't we have it on the 28th instead, and do it like last year? I know there's a lot going on behind the scenes, appreciate the Comm's hard work.
