Re: JonaDTD's VooDoo 2.0 8V

Going to see if anyone I know in the area has some form of charger - and then whip out the multimeter and test for parasitic draw. Never thought I would be stuck without transport for Christmas. Just fantastic.

Re: JonaDTD's lemon Citi 2.0 - Diagnosing Starting Issue

That is correct, although taking all of that stuff off is a 15 minute job. Just tired of all of the endless gripes. Keep going and never giv...

Running ITB's - and obviously cams and valvetrain to get to 8500RPM+ Interior still intact, not gutted as f. More than that I do not know, but there is no...

No it means the ignition barrel mechanism isn't making contact between the points you bridged (or something to that effect). Almost. The switch (the yellow or white part) supplies power to more than one wire at a time in the start position, so when you bridge it with a screwdriver you are not compl...

Can definitely understand how progress can be halted, so happy you still have the car. Whenever an old thread pops up like this it is normally the OP selling so I am glad you still have it!

Re: radiator flush

You just got lazy to read. why is it that people need to be spoon fed these days? From that post. Buy soda ash at your local pharmacy. slowly work like half a cup into your cooling system when the car is cold. Ie. start it with cap off and drop in bit by bit. Then close the cap and drive it for a f...

Re: Apparently an unloved engine...

I owned one and tried to cam it, stock management was useless - and became too expensive to try work on. Ended up selling because was in sales and driving 200km a day with no fuel compensation

Nice car for what it is and with exhaust done it sounds fantastic
