Re: The 745 kW Mk1 Golf!

I know the first DSG boxes that came out were not as strong as the other versions. You will find that Boba and other companies modify their DSG gearboxes to be able to handle the extra power and their are kits everywhere that make it stronger.

Brakpan

Wat noem Brakpanners “Blind Date” in Afrikaans? Proefsteek!

Only problem is insurance does not cover the car if it is not licensed up to date. Anyways it will take a while before this gets passed into law.

Sorry Hobbs I mislooked. That was a R32 engine not a V8. My Bad. Like how you jump to conclusions here. Mk2 with an Audi v8 [emoji23] [emoji23] it's actually a 3.2 quatro motor and the guy Nicky is a returning resident he brought all his cars over from the UK and there's plenty work done to that car...

Re: GOLF MKII 2 DOOR .:R32 DSG 4WD - *VICKI* FOR SALE

Life has been keeping me busy over here, so not much to update really. Many time wasters and tire kickers have enquired and looked at Vicki, so she is still in storage for the time being. As indicated previously, I will bring the car over when the time is right. With the facilities I currently have...

Re: How strong is a caddy bakkie accident wise

Thanks. Much appreciated for taking all that time to explain everything. I see the NP200 has a 1.6 liter engine which cars share that engine that are cheap. Renault clio is 1.4 - I know the nissan micra 1.5 diesel shares the NP200 1.5 Diesel engine. I'm quite convinced to find a low mileage np200 no...

Re: How strong is a caddy bakkie accident wise

Chev ute up to 2007 with or without airbags can tick most of your boxes for a safe affordable easy to maintain work vehicle. Newer than 2007 buy a Nissan NP200. Thanks for that but regarding the Nissan NP200... besides looking better than the new chevy ute facelift models... I heard their engines a...

How strong is a caddy bakkie accident wise

Don't know much about caddys and need one as an extra delivery vehicle.
I'm not talking about the new panel van but the old shape.
I see the front end looks like a vw golf mk1 / citi shape. Does this mean accident wise / passenger safety wise it is just as weak as a vw golf mk1?

Re: ATM Card reader scam

This crap is real, they got hold of my wifes ABSA card last month and withdrew our last R2000 out her account. Thankfully ABSA noticed the fraud happening and actually stopped her card, they did an investigation and they actually refunded the money including the bank charges within 2 weeks. The mot...
