Re: GTI OR GTD

Driven gently the R returns good fuel economy, I see 8.6L/100km over a tank in my daily commute. When you need it there are some donkeys under the bonnet too.

Re: compression ratio

Those WR280 Turbo's are tiny, was one of the first I tried on my 2.0 8vt

Obviously it all depends on what you want from the car, Big HP or daily driver? Street, Circuitor or Drag racer?

Re: VW GOLF 4 2.0 Engine mods - cam/chip

They are shortblock, internal water pump, chain driven oil pump, drive by cable 8v cross flow motors BUT the cylinder head has 5 cam bearings unlike usual 8v's that have only the 4. Most aftermarket cams will have the journals correct but a lot of factory cams will not. As having modified this motor...

Re: Mk1 Racecar - race week issues!

I ran endless pads last year, the whole year, including the phakisa 200, but at R4000 for the set its pricey. this year I'm on ATE 106 compound and they are magic - what brakes you got in there, maybe you like to try them out? I'll get so made up for you.
