Do you stock the rear brace for the citi also? The 1 that fits inside the boot on top of the shocks?

No disadvantages really. Improves handling on the citi 10 fold! Had one on mine. Never regretted it ever even with the crap springs I had I felt a major difference.

Unfortunately the mk1 golf body's do flex. So it's difficult to make parts that will fit straight with no mods.

If you don't have a ratchet strap you could also use some blog dread and loop it over the 2 arms, and then start winding it up like when you put up a fence
