Hi, can someone please help me with the location of the AAC valve on the 2003 Citi Golf? I have read that it is located at the inlet manifold on the passenger side. I cannot find any valve with 12v wiring. Also is it possible that the vehicle could have operated with the valve removed? Please your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

if its a fuel injected golf you are most likely looking for the MAP sensor(manifold air pressure)

No, it's a 1.4 Mk1 carburettor. I cannot find any information if a citi golf 1.4 carburettor has actually a AAV installed. I cannot find any sensor on the inlet manifold that have a 12V connected to it. Any information that can help me locate it OR do this model have an AAV installed when rolling off the production line? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
