Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can throw some light on this. 2011 Amarok 2.0tdi 90kw
Scan tool shows idle at +- 850 rpm but rev counter reads 950 rpm. It's a constant issue hot or cold and does not fluctuate. Bakkie runs fine otherwise, with no fault codes.
Alternator is putting out 14.2V at idle.
Any suggestions?

Re: Weird RPM issue
That's a weird one.
I take it as the needle sits ever so slightly below 1000rpm?
The small lines inbetween are increments of 200rpm.
Maybe post a pic of the cluster while idling.

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on
