Are you looking to replace the engine? The easiest way to make just about anything faster is with mapping and most modifications that you can do will require some mapping.

Sdi was a naturally aspirated diesel that made 50 kw. No amount of mapping or other work is going to make that fast ever.
The easiest to kake that faster is to sell it and buy something faster.

Go to a goldwagen and ask for the correct clutch kit. Get it installed somewhere. Vw will charge you way more. Silly to go tomagents with a car that old. Of course you don't give an hint of where you are so impossible to refer you anywhere.

What shakes at around 80 km/h? You are very vague in describing your issues.

What are you looking to replace from a scrapyard? And what is the cause of the shake?

You wish you knew why you believe it is the gearbox/clutch causing a vibration from only 80km/h? Instead of simply replacing parts on your car I suggest doing some proper diagnosis work to try pinpoint the cause of the vibration.

Its more likely to do with either wheel alignment or wheel balancing or worn wheel bearings/hubs or worn suspension bushes.

OK the machanic says I need a new clutch it cost about 6k,is there a way I can convert to a cheaper clutch like maybe from a vr6?
