Post by Elsio »

Dear All,

Kindly please assist my I have a golf and I to be honest I don't like how it drives.

Is it possible that I can fit in a golf 6 GTI front suspension into my golf 5?

Your advice would be highly appreciated.

thanks

you don't give detail if it is a standard suspension in the golf 5 and what is it you don't like. is it bumpy or crashy or what exactly do you not like?
Do you want to move the whole suspension or what exactly are you asking?.

Which model of golf 5?

If it's a 1.6 etc then no you can't as the hub diameter is different

50mm vs 55mm on GTI etc

Otherwise the suspension is the same so will be little difference

Same same basically between MKV and MKVI GTI's. Is the suspension stock or do you have something aftermarket fitted already.
MKV suspension is not terrible by any means

Vehicle wouldn't turn off and the key is stuck on the ignition

Post by Elsio »

Dear All,

Kindly please assist this past weekend my vehicle would not turn off and my key was stuck on the ignition.

Unfortunately I then broke the key due to applying some force into it. Does this mean I need to get the entire lockset?

Please suggest because not the other piece is stuck in the ignition.

Your responds and assistance would be highly appreciated.

thanks

Sounds like the OP shouldn't own a car or access to the internet.
