I found a Scan Gauge II the other day that I thought had been stolen after I sold my Defender and it used to work fine in there.
I tried connecting mine to the Vivo using both of cables supplied with the gauge but neither allowed me to pass the "connecting" stage of startup of the gauge. ( 1 cable has all the pins in the OBDII plug, the other has less).
I could not find info on whether the gauge is compatible with the modern ECU as I bought my gauge in 2009.
Anyone used one on a VW, or is mine just poked ?
Edit: also does not connect in my 2007 Hilux

Re: Scan Gauge II compatibility Vivo 2011
according to their website it works on every single car out there.
But they seem to have a good help centre maybe give it a try.

Re: Scan Gauge II compatibility Vivo 2011
I emailed the factory in Arizona to find out and they told me to post it to them and they will fix it free of charge. Nice.
