Gotech MFI X

Post by Tashveer97 »

I have a Gotech MFI X battery died and I think it lost map because it's over fueling and missing a lot, I have the map on a USB from my tuner, i downloaded the software, how do I reload the map? The software came with 3 things " Dealer tune" , "ProX tuner" and "gear x" now I tried opening dealer tube but it does not open my map, my map is an .ecu file, and ProX keeps on saying "not responding" so as I do anything( with out connecting the Gotech yet) any suggestions?

you have to connect the unit. Won't do a thing without the unit connected.

Why dealer tune? Last time I tried using dealer tune it didn't detect the box, also dealer tune doesn't open any maps, it doesn't detect .ecu files

ProX is the right one to use....When using ProX, connect up to the management, open the program, and then start the car....Without starting the car it will not pick on the software....Had the same issue when I attempted to reload my last map!!!

Low Battery + Gotech MFIX = endless problem :(

My map spiked so badly that the timing and fuelling was the same across all rpm ranges (eish)

Plug in, open the program with ignition on, and then start the car.

The application will open and work fine if you follow this.

Windows 10 requires some add-on programs I believe, its not straight forward like the other windows versions.

Try with the laptop running on windows 7.
