Brake Caliper Rebuild

Good day Gents and Ladies.

I need to have my 9N Polos rear brake calipers rebuilt. There is no leak or braking issue, but whats happening is the handbrake lever on the caliper gets stuck down and doesn't return. I have to push it back up by hand.

Is there anyone recommended in the Jhb Area for this?

perhaps the hand brake cables are getting stuck?

If it's not getting stuck after normal braking then I would say it's related to the hand brake itself or the cables.

I've checked that. The cables are free and come back. The lever itself just gets stuck down and I have to push the lever back up with my hand.

Norbrake in Boksburg can do it for you. They not that expensive either.
Take them off and take in, ask for quote. Should be done within a day or 2.

Ok guys this is way late for an update I know, but its resolved.

Bought a second hand one from Bishops, which works 100%.

When I took off my original caliper the handbrake lever arm and the metal stop against which it sits were both bent. Guess that was causing part of the problem.
