How do u change headlight bulbs? Literally no space to turn bulb out.
Just take the entire light out bud. It's really easy
All you need to do is loosen two screws and push the light out

So I picked up the new car (TSI Highline DSG) yesterday. Will give my full impressions next week after I've driven more than the 25km on the odometer so far...

In the meantime, I was wondering about how the Lights & Vision package is described. The option sheet lists "Including Auto-dimming interior mirror, low beam assist with coming home function and rain sensor wipers". It seems I misunderstood what "low beam assist" means, from what I can see it simply means that the low beams switch on automatically in low light.

My X3 had "high beam assist" which when toggled on automatically switched the high beams off when encountering an oncoming vehicle (or the rear end of a vehicle in front of you). It was extremely useful when driving backroads in pitch dark, and worked with amazing consistency and timing. I was a bit disappointed to discover this missing from the Polo, but I'm hugely impressed by the brightness and beam angle of the LEDs in general, so it makes up for it a bit!

When i bought mine the assist was to put high beam off , but never work , with the 2015 on models it means just auto on. I have been fighting them to activate it as my year model said differently

Smoke is never normal, put the car to stock and book it in. I had your setup and never saw smoke ever.

76mm to 63mm was what I had. I had no issues and you feel the reduction in lag with just a DP, don't expect much sound from it though. These cars are insanely quiet as you know.

Howzit guys,

Been a while, managed to get my hands on an Akrapovic tip from FSU Development. Damn it looks nice!
Now its time to get it fitted and this is where the question comes in. Should I go only one large box at the back or rather the resonator in the front and a bit smaller box at the back? Driving down to CT so no droning. DP will be stock for now.

Had a look under the car at the stock zhost, looks like a peeshooter pipe, can't be more than 45mm so I'm planning to go 63mm.
Drive Hard, Play Hard ... Have Fun!!!

My average consumption is 6.5l/100km and get around 740km on a tank.
The Highline seats are going to show wear and tear very quickly!
215 tyres are noisy!

Other than that it's a magical little car and the performance albeit not what I was used to in my previous cars, is very surprising for a 1.2T!

What options etc, do your cars have?

I have:

PDC

Mirror Link (actually works!)
I second that . my passenger seat does it when someone is in the car i hate it, going to stripp it this month . over the noise

Hi guys,

My left headlamp lens is cracked and I need to replace. Silly question, but can i just replace the lens? Or do I have to buy the entire unit?

Lights itself works, juts a cracked lens.
