Good day Guys
Hope everyones well
I drive a Seat Ibiza cupra 1.8t and unfortunately dropped a valve and has damaged the head as well as 1 piston.
I would appreciate some advice as to the piston replacement, would it be advisable to buy a second hand original piston or a new piston from Alert Parts? please keep in mind that I would like the strength of the original pistons as I do plan on going bigger turbo in a few months.
I will be rebuilding the motor with new main and big end bearings, piston rings as well as conrods.
Also any advice on good engineers in Durban for the cylinder head repair as well as some work?
Thank you
Regards,
Trev
