Mk5 GTI induction
Good day motorheads...I have '07 Mk5 Gti and did dp already...now for induction kit but should I do stage 2 get the air fuel mixtures right or can it be done another way.tia

Hi Taariq.
You can go stage 2 with just downpipe, but for your biggest gains its def worth fitting an upgraded intake system to make full use of the software.
You can build a decent intake for around R2.5k vs R7k for the intakes on the market.

2) Fit Intake (Enjoy car,..shoo shoo sound)
3) Check DV (If old version upgrade to RevH)
4) Upgrade to Red-Top Coils (NOT A MUST, but rather be sure)
5) Load SW (Once car running good on HARDWARE MODS)
NB: Take your time when modding,..!

Nope, if the intake's MAF housing size is incorrect, the MAF will either under or over-read, which affects fuelling and timing amongst other things.
