Re: Please Help!!!
Add breaks and suspension in there no point in all that power if you can't stop or put it to the ground. Be safeDanieRichards wrote:Good evening guys,

Re: Please Help!!!
The biggest thing you are forgetting is a way to drop the compression ratio.
And then it's all the little things, turbo oil supply line, turbo return line.
You can buy a 20vt sump and use that and possibly use the 20vt return line with some mods.

Re: Please Help!!!
Why not just sell the 2.0 and buy a Golf 4 1.8T and save some follicles
I'm sure it will work out alot cheaper and use the same cash for mods.

That's the 1.8T 20v Aug/Bam motor fitted to the golf 4 gti /Audi S3 2005ish modelsTHEGTOWNER wrote:Apparently the 1.8 20v turbo motor can go to 230wkw on stock internals too

The Aug motor does 110 kw at the flywheel stock
The Bam motor does 132 kw at the flywheel stock
So a good Base to start from and you can pick them up for around 20k with the gearbox if I'm not mistaken

Re: Please Help!!!
Why changing management systems? Both can be mapped for boost.

Re: Please Help!!!
Turbocharging a motor is not as simple as most people think. Its not just fitting a turbo. There are always small things that make u wish u didnt do the conversion. And i highly doubt 0.6bar will keep u satisfied for a long time, boost is addictive.
Rather save and buy a motor that comes turbo charged, it can handle more boost, less possibilities of breaking and will save u the time trying to figure stuff out

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on
