Did some aliminium build up on a rowland manifold that some genius ported in all the wrong place. Now to get both faces skimmed and reshaping the ports. The custom interxooler on the ca18det found its home.

I dont do body work like tht unless its for my own stuff. There are vplenty of body shops that are real good with that kind of repairs. Started modifying a 20v intake today to go onto ABF turbo.

What car was it? I dont like handing out stickers as the guys just stick on their car that have real bad fabrication done on them.

If You see a sticker like this You know its my work. I did custom manifold and exhaust on this tdi. Made 246kw with Nos.

I have one of your intercooler kits i bought from Quintin Qtec. Great kit, only one comment. The pip running from the turbo to the cooler, hot side, it had a bracket where you bolt it to the gearbox welded to the pipe. Mine was leaking on that bracket weld on the pipe, whole weld cracked. Maybe look into improving this in future. Like i said kit is awesome just had that issue.

Ask Quinton why that bracket is there. :iagree: He wanted them there. Built the first one on his car and then just copied them. Told him from the start they will brake off. There was another bracket just before the MAP sensor that I removed and he wanted.the top pipe as a 2 piece pipe that I also stopped doing like that.

I'd be interested in this. Will it be something like the IE manifolds for the TFSi?
