did you not go test drive it before hand? No cheap easy fix for that. sell and buy a gti is honestly the easiest solution.

Calm, down Cecil.

I agree with you, buying 2nd hand turbo cars is risky, I prefer buying 3rd or 4th hand turbo cars, because hey if it made it this far, it's probably a good vehicle.

Also nobody is teasing you, lighten up. The advice offered is good advice, you can throw R50k into your car and it will still be slower than a stock GTi or TDI with a remap. And you will end up decreasing its value as well. Use it don't use it.

Sorry but doubt there is anything you can really do to change the power of your vehicle that would really make a decent difference.. best beat like everyone has said is GTI route or TSI . personally there is nothing wrong with a second hand turbo vehicle as I've owned 4 .. I've always been told ah watch out it's turbo be-careful .. all boils down to how well the vehicle has been taken care of .. in my opinion all cars turbo or non turbo they have been driven hard..and do a lot of research to find out what all the "common issues" are..

But in all honesty you gonna have to live with the lack of power until you can maybe pick up something that's a bit faster.

Great stuffImage

Best is to make sure to maybe get it checked at a certified Dekra centre or the likes to do a full health check on the car and if possible get it scanned Image
