Just fit an intake if you want the noise.
I had an intake on my scirocco twincharge and it was very loud....

Re: Golf 6 TSI Twincharged BOV
How is that Scirocco twincharge ?
I really love the look of those cars and thought the 1.4Tsi was a good buy, til i drove a stock one, and got put off by the lack of power.
Does the std mods like DP and software make it come alive and more fun to drive ?
Reliability issues ?
A friend of mine worked @ Weiss Vw and said to me these motors are problematic, dunno how true it is though ?

Re: Golf 6 TSI Twincharged BOV
Its an awesome car.... I had mine from 28k km till 140k km....
Issues - I did software at 40k km had a few issues with the boost which caused the vehicle to go into limp mode or would break up through the rev range. Shaheen at Etuners then bench flashed my ecu with an update no issues thereafter. I also had an intake fitted.
Other then that normal services and its a great vehicle. I did replace coils and plug quite a few times though as there was a problem with my actuator and then that was replaced. There was quite a few problematic 1.4 twincharges that I heard of but luckily mine was never an issue. I used to drive it hard as well.
Stock its dead, once you do the generic DP intake software its much nippier....

Re: Golf 6 TSI Twincharged BOV
Thanks guys, been more than a year since i returned to the site . . . . my warranty is over and i immediately fitted a DP without software & just fitted a k&n filter as well as removed middle box. Really fell in love with her all over again. It is the same engine as the scirocco and yes stock it really ain that fun but overall the stance, efficiency & potential for daily driving power makes this car a valuable buy in my opinion
