Golf 6 Gti sub assembly

Hi

So something inside engine broke and and does not turn anymore. Think it could be a conrod.

Phoned around for a sub assembly and found one wIth engine code CDA. Will it work or must the engine code be same as mine.

CDA is a 1.8.
Your engine is a 2l.

Be sure that its the sub assembly.

The CCZ motors are known for tensioner issues, and depending how it broke, it will also stop the motor from turning over.

Unless you know its a conrod, because the cranks is saying hello through a hole in the block...
