As the topic suggests, on my golf 5, the left air vent only blows hot or cold air.
When ever I have my demister on, the left air vent will only blow cold air, when I switch of my demister, the air vent only blows hot air.
I have taken my vehicle for a check up, nothing came up on the vag software, tried changing the sensor on the left next to the door and no change in this condition. Tried changing the control module and still does the same thing.
My mechanic then referred me to a guy who suspected that it's the heater box that's faulty.
Changing the heater box is an expensive exercise and I don't wanna do it just to be shooting in the dark, another reason for not being so keen on changing the heater box is the question I have in mind. Why does the "faulty" eater box only affect the left air vent and not the whole system?
Has anyone experienced this?
