AUG versus DGF ratios

Howzit Guys,

I recently got a DGF gearbox from a friend who confirmed it was long ratio box.
After doing research i found that the ratios are exactly the same between the AUG and the DGF box.

My problem arose after fitting the DGF box to my 1.6 1998 Polo Classic. Unfortunately I did not have the 210mm fly wheel clutch and pressure plate.

I used a 1.6 pressure plate in a 210mm fly wheel after checking if its okay to do so.
Luckily all fine clutch is okay,

I don't have cruse speed though, the car had a DGG box in before and i was getting 120km at roughly 4000rpm which was to high.

With the DGF i was hoping to get 120km at a rpm of maybe 3000rpm, but no luck with the DGF i get about 100km at 3000rpm.

What i would like to know could this be because of using a small clutch plate in the 210mm flywheel or is there something else i need to do, so I can get the 120km at 3000rpm cruise speed? :deadhorse:

Clutch diameter has got absolutely nothing to do with gear ratios.

Increase the 5th gear ratio, clutch plate won't make a difference in rpm's

how complicated is it to increase the 5th gear ratio,
The car's DGG gearbox is not in use at the moment maybe i can amend its 5th gear ratio
