Dashboard light please help

Hi everyone, i drive a 2006 polo 2L. im curious i have a light come on that is a wrench. usually i know this comes on and it says INSP with the wrench as in to service the car. However this time the wrench came on and it says 'oil' next to it.(this is displayed where the kilometers are displayed, not on the main dashboard in the middle). I've had the car serviced very recently and there are no oil leaks either. Is it just a thing that comes on after i've done a certain amount of kilometeres like the wrench(insp) light? what is the difference im curious?

Insp means inspection service.
The one thatbsays oil means oil change service.
Different intervals.
When they serviced the car they did not reset the system
