Need help with TOuran 1. 4 Tsi 2010

Hi guys

I need help with my Touran. It had issues starting up and fueling problems...
We had changed all the injectors as it did have a leak. Checked the primary and secondary fuel pump and cleaned them out and put back.... it takes long to start with similar problem as before... it looks like nothing changed..
While driving it, it cuts off but does not die off.. like a loss of power when u accelerate when it cuts it comes back to normal.
Not sure now if it's fuel pressure that's a problem... which I doubt...
But once it's parked overnight in the morning
Is where the problem is....

Have you scanned for error codes? If so, which codes popped up?

Sorry to derail the main question, but how do you clean fuel pumps?

Once it's starts up does it smoke or smell of fuel.
Is the hard starting also present during the day if you have been parked for a few minutes or hours? Does it drive smoothly or it shutters and not Rev smoothly?

What leaked to decide to replace the injectors and was it all injectors that were problematic?

A scan will help you to find the root of the problem.

Whoever I have taken the touran to plugged their diagnostic machine and picked up faults... erased them but it comes back again... it says engine fault but not any specific...

They using the wrong machines... what machine if I may ask? A vagcom would show exactly where the fault is. And not just engine fault... thats way too generic to come from a proper diagnostic machine

yup need vas/codis/vcds.
generic obd2 scanners won't simply decode the error codes. But you could also check the actual code numbers on the net.
I could help next week sometime in the afternoon.

Basically the guy I took it to... said he removed the pumps and cleaned them. He cleaned the siffs and blew it with an airgun.
He did say he found like Sandy particles.
What it does when it starts it swings a lot before idling... there's is a strong smell of fuel though....
once it's hot during driving and parking it its fine it's starts on the turn... overnight is when the problem is then starting it in the morning... a mechanic told me it's the injectors that are leaking overnight hence the struggle to start in the morning... but once you pass 100kms it has like a flat spot when you leave the pedal and accelerate...sometimes it even jerks...
I have replaced 2 injectors thus far but will replace the other 2 and see from there...

Is there anyone you can recommend that can plug in a diagnostic machine and get more detailed information where the problem is?

If I don't come right I have a few buyers ready to take it as is.. but I won't get the price I paid for it.....

fuel pump must prime when cold and yo open he driver's door. Could be that the door switch is broken and not allowing the pump to prime or sure it could be more complicated. But yeah if you don't come right I can scan it for you and at least have the correct fault.

Aaaah... I see I didn't think about that my jetta does that when I open the door... I didn't notice if the touran does that...
I'll check that as well...

By the way this touran is an import version.... I forgot to mention it.. looks exactly like a touran but there's lots of Chinese writing all over it... even the radio is in Chinese which I haven't figured out yet how to change the language on it....
