Hi guys.
I have a strange dilemma over here. I have a 2001 Citi golf and I have a aftermarket steering on at the moment. However I had a Citi life steering wheel on there that I didn't use anymore and swopped it for a CTI steering wheel!
Now my problem is that the CTI steering doesn't want to fit on the shaft, my shaft is thicker and doesn't look like anyway around it????
I had a 2004 model golf before and the CTI steering fitted right in there. Please help me figure what is cutting?
Thanks guys

Re: Steering Fitment issue
Some citi's have a spline adapter that takes the small shaft to the big shaft so maybe check if yours has that. You use a 27mm spanner and a puller to get that adapter off

Re: Steering Fitment issue
I figured that out thanks guys but I was damaging my steering surround so I left it alone. Don't want rattling bits there.
Could one of you guys upload a pic of how the 27mm spanner and puller must be used

Re: Steering Fitment issue
Slip the spanner behind the spacer. Hook puller to spanner, pull.
