Hi guys,
My 2007 velo 1.4 has started giving me terrible fuel consumption. It dropped to about 8.5km/l. I initially thought it could just be a bad batch of fuel but its been remaining the same for the last 3 tanks. The only visible change I've seen is my oil pressure light came on once or twice a month, but I've read that those sensors can go bad.
A buddy of mine raced a velociti and has since given me all of his spares. I will be replacing all the sensors (MAP, water temp, etc) the weekend. Must I reset the ECU after fitting the new sensors? And can it be reset without VAG software? The car will be going in for diagnostics next month, I just want to replace everything I can before then.
I have seen guys getting upwards of 600km on a tank, and Im struggling to get to 500km.
Any other advice or things to look for will be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Velociti sensor replace + ECU reset
No need to reset the ecu. But if you change the throttle body you should have it calibrated.
