Re: caddy handbrake
,
Its quite easy, if its a case of just adjusting, then you can do it by tightening the 2 bolts underneath the handbrake lever.
But it could be that the handbrake cables are stretched, or you're back brake lining is wearing thin , there is self adjusters at the back that is suppose to keep the right tension on the handbrake.
Hope this helps.....
Aaaand remember kids, Google is you're friend....

Re: caddy handbrake
thanks for the reply
For now I would start with handbrake adjustment first and take it from there, what I need to know is do I just do adjustment by screwing those 2 nuts by the handbrake lever or how?
Thanks

Re: caddy handbrake
Correct. Each side has 2 nuts. the front nut is just to lock hte 2nd one into place. You loosen both from each other to break the lock and then just screw the back one to increase tension on the cable. do this on a flat surface otherwise you may be rolling somewhere. Pull up lever to check tension. If happy then use to spanners to lock the two nuts tight.caddy club wrote:thanks for the reply

Bobs your aunty.
If this doesn't work, then as mentioned, either the cables are wrong, strenched or the drums need replacing
