Rent-a-Workshop.

Post by Polo_buhTDi »

Ola amigos.

Im looking for a workshop space that I could use/rent for a day or a few hours.

Ive got to do a few things on my tdi - Service, inspections, cosmetics, and im looking for a place with either a lift or some decent jacks + trestles that will let me use their shop and do the work myself.

Im based in the Edenvale area so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.. :hi:

There was a thread about similar offer on VWVortex, general consensus was that the overheads ito insurance, tool theft, issues if repair takes a turn for the worse and you're stuck with a car on a lift; makes this a non starter. Kinda like a AirBnB for garages / workshops. Seems like a good idea at first, but the devil is in the detail.
