2003 Polo 1.4TDI

Post by Lienkie »

Hi everyone,

I please need help on my polo 1.4tdi. Every 2/3 weeks I need to buy new water pipes for my car. We noticed if we took the pipes off there is diesel on the pipes which means there is a breath somewhere?... The pipes are swolen up, making a bubble on it then it starts leaking.

Any help please?

Diesel on the pipes as on the outside? If that is th case then start looking for a leak that drips on then pipe. And no other issues, water usage/ extra pressure in the water system?,

Diesel is on the outside yes. Car doesn't use any oil or water at all, checking that twice a week on my car, unless a pipe start leaking because of the diesel on it

Have you checked for diesel leaks, as panic suggested?

Ok you really need to find the diesel leak. Should be fairly obvious if it is that bad. Is it the same hose that fails or differnt ones.

Probably a tandem pump leak as there are no fuel pipes on rhs back corner of the engine
