Seat cupra tdi

Hi guy's.

I did a straight pipe on my 1.9tdi, sounded wicked for the first 20 or so kms but sound changed to a somewhat raspy noise, like usual tdi straight pipe idle but much louder and constant throughout the drive
Car boost strong and didnt seem to have any drivability issue. After a couple days the engine light came on and she went into a somewhat limp mode, noise completely dissapeared. Turned out to be a torn boost pipe, all is well again, but the noise is back. Turbo doesnt seem to have any wine, but could it likely be the culprit? Should i try putting the box back and see whats going on? No exhaust leak either and egr has been deleted. Car is otherwise stock, no map yet.
