I totaled my mk5 R32 engine ...3.2 vr6 DSG
So i removed it...
And i got another engine from a passat b6
3.2 vr6 Fsi DSG as well...that i installed in the Golf
Engines are the same but because of the Fsi on the engine i got...the management nd the injectors differs...
Connected to the r32 ecu...
I get spark and all...
But the ecu does not recognise the injectors
And then there are 3 plugs on the fsi feul rail
That are missing from the r32 harness...
Wil an aftermarket ecu run my engine..? (Spitronics)
And wat happens with the dsg gearbox...?

Just swap the intake and fuel rail and everything from the old motor and blank off the direct injection holes,then you can run the oem management.
You will have no luck trying to run aftermarket management on a DI engine.

Injector ports are on the head, not the manifold. So you cant swap it over.
ex. Golf 4 GTi AGU/AUQ
