The price of the CTR here in S.A is ridiculous for the same money you get a R which puts it in a league of its own. I suspect the Clubsport will be around R500k a tad below the R
And yes, from rolling the Clubsport should be infront of the civic

Am I wrong but a DSG should be quicker off the line than a manual?

From what I've seen in lots of races legal/illegal the DSGs have some sort of delay of the line. Either that or most of the drivers have bad RTs. Stock, its quite hard to get the power down nicely on these cars. Most of the G6's and G7 gtis I know have to makeup for the race on the top end.

Normal GTI PP is R500k. Clubsport probably around R540k.

Think the 10 sec overboost on the GTI allows it to close on the CTR after losing ground on the start.

The Clubsport is just a bit faster over 400m than a stage 2 G6. Wonder what the 1km exit speed will be.

Yeah, think it's because of the overboost function only coming into play in 3rd gear onwards..

Turbo cars are faster on the reef, wander what they will do up here in Gauteng, in the Car magazine they have a Clubsport S, 228kw, breaking the hatch lap record at the Ring in Germany

What is overboost? quick google search says its a bad thing
If you are interested in something, No matter what it is
Go at it full speed
Embrace it with both arms
Hug it
Love it
Above all become passionate about it
Lukewarm is not good enough

You can compare the fist and the polo to the tastic car but the Clubsport is way above all 3.

400m times at Killarney is hardly a comparison. How did the fist and the polo do around the 'Ring?

Tests are done on different days in different conditions so not very fair to compare really... but yeah a Fiesta and Polo will be very nippy up to 100..

400m times at Killarney is hardly a comparison. How did the fist and the polo do around the 'Ring first corner?

What makes the CS an awesome package is not the acceleration but rather manoeuvrability through the bends and reduced under steer.
