95 octane 100-200 vs 95 octane + OB1 100-200

Postby RN_MK7GTI » Mon May 08, 2017 2:05 pm

So I decided after my previous 100-200 run on 95 octane that it would be a good idea to add OB1 to the mix and try again.

My previous run from 100-200 was 9.7sec at 12°C with 95 octane.

Last night I did about 11 runs from 100-200 on the same piece of road as the previous test but this time with OB1 added to the mix. The average time I did was between 9.2 and 9.3sec.

The video was of the best run which I timed to be somewhere in the 9.1sec (you can differ from my time if you time it I could be wrong) at 6°C hotter than the previous test.

I believe if I wait for a night that is 12°C again with OB1 I would be able to break into very high 8s

That's very, very quick. Almost 2s quicker than an M3/4 for those same speeds. They do it in around 10.4s.
