My A3, finally sorted

Post by Kyle »

Finally got a chance to give the ol fatty some love, the paint was in a REALLY poor condition, the goal for this detail was to get rid of dicolouration, and achieve around 80% correction.

I will be giving it another go once some coatings I have ordered from Germany arrive, for now thought, I'm happy with the outcome.

Waiting in line...

This car's paintwork is really ****, not sure what the previous owner was doing but it wasn't a pretty picture :bang: :bang: :bang:

Was then time for decontamination :

G Techniq W6 was the chosen ammo, followed up W7 Tar remover, and finally some fine grade clay

Decided on my favourite combo, Scoll S17/Scholl Orange spider pad

Some progress shots

Thanks bud! yeah the feeling of looking out the rear view mirrors and seeing a shiny door is new for me

As detailers, many people simply cannot understand why our cars are never as perfect as our customer's cars, but I'm glad I finally got a chance to sort her out.
