I know that, but flushing the toilet isn't life threatening either, but you do it anyway after taking a pee?

Took my car to the Shell garage up the road. They have a proper foaming cannon and HP washer. They did a good job, R55 and I did the car drying. Well worth the money and I was watching, surprisingly little water. Also looks like they have a water trap / recycling tank. Wookie nice and shiny :)

I live on a farm. All the roof area catches water.

If the rain water is depleted we pump from the dam.

Chlorine floater in the tank. 1 micron filter and carbon activated filter.

Only thing we use from government is electricity. We do our own waste systems, rubbish removals and even maintain the surrounding roads without help from government. You guys think toll roads are expensive.....try maintaining your surrounding gravel roads by yourself.

Our household monthly consumption is under 6kl.
"If it's yellow, let it mellow... If it's brown, flush it down."
Started using our 1 year old daughters bath water to flush the toilets in the house.

Toilets and washing machines are the biggest culprits with regards to water usage.
Our household consumption for the past month was 5kl even with the 4 monthly car washes.
