I know, I wanted some sort of confirmed itinerary if something was planned (with club members) in PE. Was not not just gonna drive up and hang around AutoPavillion till someone pitched up.

this is some epic stuff.

big ups all involved.

Those RS rims are pure porn and so simple

this build brings a flood of want for a CITI

FB haters are obviously not on any car forum and they themselves have no means to even attempt this kinda build nevertheless a trip almost around the world with it.

I must also say that 3.6 sounds evil and not at all like a VR6 that i ever heard. The revs are so fast in that 3.6.

I have 1 Question though guys . What is the meaning of troll?Trolling?

Oh and where is the car now on the journey?

The trek up to Campfest-X all the way from the Mother City to see the freshly built "Three point 6" Citi was well worth the effort!

Big ups to all involved making this project a huge success. :hurray:

It’s been a busy week getting everything ready for the Citi to get on board the Orchid sailing to Emden.

Huge shoutout to the PE guys that met us at the Factory, and for hanging out at Aldo Scribante.
Also to Russel and Karen for putting Jamie up for the evening.

I’ll try and post some more pics later this week, once I’ve gotten my own life back to routine.

VWCSA members really went the extra mile, and VWSA have taken a keen interest in our club...

Peace

Those bumpers were only on the 1800 Sport models, looks quite cool. They came painted ina silver grey colour too if you were to buy a metallic blue or light metallic brown sport. Don't see many of them around today.

Indeed. Even better, try finding a rear one for a Fox...

And yes, Scott, the stickers on those Sports were also grey. Here's one I found (not sure if the cross-linking to photobucket works).

Was an epic week helping out on the build and even an bigger week after the build. We ended up escorting Jamie out of jhb with the Caddy for about 50km or so. Yes Jamie kicked my Abf on Itb's ass, yes I was trying and yes I enjoyed it. LolImageImageImageImage
