sitting back, waiting for cinematic experience...

Nice idea but you are going to need the following to compete with the other reviews available if you want to to build an audience.

1. Gimbal/Steadycam
2. Better Audio recording.
3. Better music

Howzit bud,

Thanks for the feedback.

1.Stabilizer is on the way, should be here tomorrow.
2.Rode Mic will be sorted in a month or 2.
3. More specific on this one please Marz?

Something that is
A. Not stolen (roaylty free)
B. Not booming, (soft voice and then next moment trance party and flames)
C. Something without lyrics that can be used (looped) throughout the video at various volumes

Look at the Zhiyun-Tech Crane v2 or Feiyu MG if you are using DSLR to record.

Thanks for the honest feedback Marzbars,

One thing is for sure, music is royalty free, not stolen. (using NCS/NoCopyrightSounds)

Will look into your other points thanks bud.

Not getting a gimbal yet but am getting a Linkstar (steadycam type of stabilizer )

Stabalizer/Gimbal is half the battle won. Still a lot of technical things with regards to how you walk, how you hold it, arm position etc etc. The smart modes on the Gimbal makes it worth the price, but balancing them takes longer than a steady cam would.

Got the stabilizer set up as close as perfect as I'm going to get it. I do see what you mean with only half the battle won part,
well guess we'll see this weekend, doing the next shoot. Had a closer look at my vidz again and for now I'm rather going to do a voice-over whilst the video is playing until I can source a decent external mic.

Invest in an acoustic blanket, throw it over your head and record on your phone if you have no other option.
Lapel mic would be golden, but ambient noises will still be picked up.
I know of a few guys who actually use their samsung headphones to record audio

Have a look at this local guy's channel
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqpyUe ... 5_LvOgVMCA

Lot's to learn from him with regards to flow.
Pay attention to the fact that his music is part of the video and not a section in it.

He also has a different approach and talks about and with local cars/drivers in his area that stand out from the rest.

Wow, different level compared to your BMW video.
Steadycam is doing it's job perfectly and the music matching is on par.
Well done.

Some more (positive) crit.
- be cautious of slowing down the playback too much, it helps to smooth out movements but at certain frame rates you can see it is a bit laggy

Nicely done. Solid improvements over the previous videos. Keep it up.
If I had to criticise 1 thing it would be that the cinematics are a bit long. Perhaps speed over some parts, or skip past some of the less interesting details. :hurray:
