Alternative 12v source for 2009 Radio replacement

Hi all. I need to find an alternative 12v source i can tap into to power a new headunit on a 2009 VW tiguan. Suggestions?

Try the sig lighter should work, can you explain why you need to tap to a new 12v source?

+1 why cant u use the power source from the original radio?
